Haulan

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 29, 2026
Plain-English summary: we store the business data you put into Haulan so the software works. We don't sell it. Carrier tax documents are encrypted in transit, access-controlled per company, and only visible to the company that collected them.

1. What we collect

2. How we use it

Only to operate the Service: producing your documents, verifying carriers and signers, showing your reports, sending verification codes and packet links, and support. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use your business data to compete with you.

3. Who can see it

Data is segregated per company: your customers, loads, rates, and documents are visible only to your company's users (and platform administration for support). A carrier's own reusable documents are shown back to that carrier for reuse across packets only with the carrier's action.

4. Service providers

We rely on: Amazon Web Services (hosting, storage, email delivery), Twilio (SMS verification codes), 2Captcha (automated retrieval of public FMCSA insurance filings), and FMCSA / U.S. DOT public APIs. Each receives only what it needs to perform its function.

5. Security

All traffic is encrypted with TLS. Documents are stored access-controlled and served only to authenticated users of the owning company. Verification codes expire, and packet signing records the signer's IP and device for the signature certificate.

6. Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. On request after cancellation we will export and then delete your company's data, except records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons.
